Migros Fitnesspark: From lifting to an integrated campaign

Challenge: Migros Fitnesspark faced a twofold challenge: The brand needed to be further developed in terms of content and design to reflect its increased premium standards. At the same time, the new image had to be integrated into a holistic marketing strategy that would appeal to existing members and attract new customers – the previous imagery seemed too generic and no longer appropriate to the quality promise. Solution: • Annual strategy with a two-stage campaign concept • Spring/Summer: Premium look and feel – elegant imagery, sophisticated color palette, and cinematic aesthetics • Targeted influencer campaigns with Manuela Frey to communicate Fitnesspark's benefits • Fall: Influencers Marco & Manuela as brand ambassadors and models for imagery • Production of image film, fitness clips, and social media reels, as well as cross-media activation (print, digital, social) Result & Conclusion: The multi-phase campaign successfully positioned Fitnesspark as a premium provider: • Spring/Summer established a distinctive brand identity that won over existing and new members • January campaign: >430,000 influencer impressions, subscription sales target exceeded • Fall campaign: >900,000 impressions, significant membership growth The mix of high-quality brand refresh and strategic influencer marketing created a seamless customer experience Journey across all channels and strengthened the market position.

Migros 100 Years: Switzerland-wide customer experience at 642 locations

Challenge: For its 100th anniversary, Migros wanted to give something back to its loyal customers and create an unforgettable experience. The challenge: 642 stores across Switzerland were to be transformed simultaneously into unique worlds of experience for two days. The concept had to work across the entire customer journey, from the greeting at the entrance to the service upon exiting the store. The challenge was to master the logistical requirements of a Switzerland-wide event and ensure a consistent, emotional customer experience. Solution: • A warm welcome from Migros staff at the entrance with initial MERCI impressions • Specially designed selfie walls in 80 selected stores as a visual highlight and social media invitation • Surprise gifts for children and a pampering service with coffee and pastries for all customers • Transport assistance with loading shopping bags into cars • Logistical masterpiece: Six specialized logistics specialists prepared all pallets within three days and transported them across Switzerland on 21 semi-trailers Result & Conclusion: The MERCI Days on May 23 and 24, 2025, were a complete success and demonstrated how well-thought-out live marketing activation works. The event underscored the long-standing bond between Migros and its customers and created positive brand experiences at all 642 locations. Efficient collaboration within the THRYVE network enabled the seamless implementation of a complex, Switzerland-wide event. Each pallet was individually prepared and loaded – a feat that impressively demonstrated Promotion Tools' expertise in event logistics. The concept demonstrated how customer appreciation can be translated into a lasting brand experience through well-thought-out touchpoint staging.

Openair Frauenfeld neu gedacht

Challenge: Openair Frauenfeld has established itself as Europe's most important hip-hop festival. The challenge was to further develop the festival without losing its cultural identity. At the same time, its appeal needed to be expanded beyond die-hard hip-hop fans to appeal to a broader international audience. Solution: • Bold design featuring firecracker smoke, 3D objects, and concrete monoliths • New festival logo: pink, inflated typography as the key visual for all channels • Colorful, dynamic branding for a broad target audience Result & Conclusion: The relaunch positions Openair Frauenfeld as a place where music, style, visuals, and community merge. The new design conveys boundless energy and community spirit – in the spirit of "No Limits." The festival sets new standards in festival aesthetics and transforms itself from a pure music event into a next-generation experience universe, without losing its hip-hop DNA.

UCC Schweiz: Kaffeemarken zwischen Tradition und Moderne

Challenge: The Swiss subsidiary of the Japanese coffee group Ueshima Coffee Company faced the challenge of bringing its long-established coffee brands Merkur, Giger, Rosca, Raygil, and Sima into the modern age. The goal was to achieve a contemporary design while preserving the long-standing history and craftsmanship of each brand. The repositioning was intended to maintain the brand-specific characteristics and regional roots while simultaneously increasing their appeal to existing and new target groups. Solution: • Brand Affairs developed a customized brand strategy for each of the five brands, taking into account their specific characteristics and history. • Rawcut, based on this strategy, created new designs and logos that combine tradition and modernity. • Special focus on balancing renewal and preserving the brand identity. • Distinctive design for each brand that still reflects the family affiliation. Result & Conclusion: The rebranding successfully transports UCC Switzerland's coffee brands into the present without neglecting their roots. The fresh designs combine a sense of tradition with contemporary aesthetics, thus appealing to both existing and new target groups. "With this rebranding, we not only want to visually refresh our brands, but also demonstrate our appreciation for the Swiss coffee tradition," explains Susana Rico, Head of Marketing at UCC Switzerland.
